We're gathering to pray on Wednesday September 12, 8 - 9:15 PM at Cornerstone College
While we pray in all sorts of ways and on all manner of occasions, it is especially good to join together in prayer. Gathering as a church to pray gives us an opportunity as a family to bring our concerns to God, and to join with each other in thanking God for his goodness to us! Of course, lots of Christians also find it really encouraging to listen to others pray, and to learn from the prayers of other believers.
This Prayer Gathering will be hosted and led by our Wednesday Evening Expats Bible Study Group.
And you can be part of it!
Please join us Wednesday September 12, at 8 PM, in Paideia at Cornerstone College, where we meet on Sundays. There will be no evening TMB Bible Studies this week. All groups will be joining in the Prayer Gathering. You'll be able to pray for a range of areas in our church life and beyond, sing some songs, enjoy quietness for reflection and prayer, and be encouraged through the prayers of others. You can pray out loud, or not. And if you come 15 minutes early, at 7:45, coffee will be served!

This Sunday, 2 September, we're continuing our journey through the Apostle Paul's letter to the Romans. We're in chapter 6 this week. You might like to read ahead to get the most out of Sunday.
And as it's Father's Day, we'll have a special small gift for all the men in our church family!

Joining a church can sometimes feel a little like suddenly becoming part of a very large family!
We love having new people join our church family, and if you're new at Trinity we're eager to make the transition as easy as possible for you!
A Welcome Lunch is your chance to meet some other people who are new-ish, a few people who have been around a bit longer, and to enjoy a meal together. There's an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you might have about our church, who's who, and how things work at Trinity.
Our next Welcome Lunch is Sunday, 9 September, 1 PM at Clayton & Kathy Fopp's home in Littlehampton. If you've been around for a few weeks or months, and would like to get to know your new Trinity family a little better, please join us!
Please join us!

Our teaching series in Paul's letter to the Romans kicks off again this week.
Martin Luther called Paul's letter to the Romans "the purest gospel" and the letter as been especially treasured by Christians for centuries. Our time in Romans begins with chapter 5 this week in Bible Study Groups and on Sunday. We looked at the earlier chapters together back in 2014.
We want to help you get the most of out of our time in Romans together, so here are a few resources and idea that might be useful!
Remind yourself what's happend so far by reading Romans 1 - 4 before Bible Study Group or before Sunday. This will help you pick up the flow of the letter. It's about a 13 minute read.
Spend some time in the passages before BSG or Sundays. You can download the study guide to help you dive into, understand, and apply each section we're going to be looking at together.
Read Martin Luther's Preface to Romans. You can download a PDF of it to print out. We distributed this PDF last time we were in Romans together and lots of people found it a hugely stimulating read. It will take you about half an hour to read through.
Pray and ask God to speak to you through his Word!
Listen to the talks from Romans 1 - 4.
