Hey, Year 6s!

We're really looking forward to you joining GiG Youth next year when you're in year 7! In fact, we can't wait so much, we want you to come along to GiG Youth twice this term as well!

On Fridays 9 & 23 November, you're invited to come along to GiG Youth.  You'll be able to meet the leaders and other members, get a taste for what GiG Youth will be like next year, and have a whole lot of fun!

If you've got friends in year 6, or in high school already, invite them along as well!  You can collect an invitation on Sundays to give to your mates.

Please join us on the 9th and the 23rd, at Cornerstone at 7:30 PM, with a Bible (if you have one), and $3.  If you or your parents have any questions, please call the church on 8398 2827.

You can find out a little about GiG, and see various photos of both the serious bits and the craziness from this year, on the GiG Youth page, or you can follow us on Instagram.

Real JesusGiG Youth kicks off for Term 4 on Friday 19 October!

Lots of people have different ideas about Jesus.
And we often wonder what he's really like.
Perhaps we question if he has anything to offer our friends.

This term in GiG Youth, we're going to be watching and listening as Jesus interacts with a bunch of people, just like the people we know!
People on the edges ...
Religious people ...
Hurting people ...
Normal people!

If you're in school years 7 - 11 we'd love you to join us! We meet Friday nights, in the Middle School building at Cornerstone College from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. Come along and see how Jesus relates to people just like you, and your friends and family!

More info from Gig Youth and the latest from our Instagram feed is available here.

See you Friday!

We hope you can join us in Kids Church this week!  We are learning about the time Jesus turned water into wine!
Jesus performed miracles to help people believe that He is the Messiah, the Son of God. Jesus has power over everything, and those who believe in Him will have eternal life.
Come along on Sunday and find out more! #trinitykids #thegospelprojectkids

Wating, Wating, Waiting!

How do we wait for Jesus' return? 2 Peter
Why is it taking such a long time to come?
What should I be doing while I wait?
And hasn't science disproved the idea that God will ever intervene in the world?

Join us this Sunday as we look at the final chapter of 2 Peter together where the Apostle Peter answers some of our questions about waiting for Jesus to return.

If you've missed either of the previous Sundays, listen to the talks on chapter 1 and chapter 2 before you come!  You can listen to the talks online, or download them in our resources library.

See you Sunday, 10 AM at Cornerstone College!

We hope you can join us in Junior Youth Bible this Sunday as we look at 2 Peter 3!
Jesus IS coming back.
We don't know when it will be.
What do we need to do as we wait?
We need to be ready to meet Him.

Don't forget that Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday!Daylight saving

Put your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed Saturday night, so that you can make it to church on time!

We look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone College at 10 AM!

We hope you can join us in Kids Church on Sunday!

Jesus told this story to teach the religious leaders about Himself. God sent His own Son, Jesus, to earth but the religious leaders rejected Him. Jesus is the cornerstone—the most important One of all. Only He can save us from our sin. #trinitykids #thegospelprojectkids

School holidays are upon us!

Our Kids' Church Holiday Program is running during the holidays for all kids from 3 years old up to year 6 in school. We hope to see you this Sunday!
The times we live in are difficult. Temptation is strong and opposition to
the Truth is real.
False teachers try to undermine God's Word.
BUT.......God has promised to give us strength to stay true to Him and to
His Word.  We hope you can join us in Junior Youth Bible Study this Sunday
to learn more!

If you've wanted to remind someone of what's important, one last time ...2 Peter
Or if you've wondered what's true and what's not when it comes to Jesus ...
Or maybe it feels like it's taking a long time for Jesus to return ...

Then 2 Peter is for you!

Our new teaching series, "A Certain Faith" taking in the second letter written by the Apostle Peter will begin on Sunday 30 September.  Bible Study Groups will begin in 2 Peter during the week prior.

2 Peter is a letter in which the Apostle gives a final reminder to his readers of the faith that has been passed down to them. He is conscious that his own life is drawing to an end and he wants his friends to continue to grow in faith and maturity after he has left them. Peter knows that they will be living out their faith in an environment in which false messages about Jesus will spring up, and he is eager for them to be able discern the truth from error, and cling to what is true. And Peter knows that even though believers are still waiting for Jesus' return, it is sure and guaranteed, and those who belong to Jesus must be ready and about their master's work.

So it's easy to see what application 2 Peter might have for us!

You can download the study guide for 2 Peter here, and please join us on Sundays at 10 AM, from 30 September.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
2 Peter 3:18

Kids Church is back!

Join us this Sunday as we look at the story of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.
The tax collector knew he needed God to forgive him, and he cried out to God. Everyone is a sinner who needs forgiveness. Jesus took the punishment for our sin by dying on the cross. We can cry out to God like the tax collector and because of Jesus, God will forgive us.
We’d love for you to join us!

Kids Church: Three parables

We’d love for you to join us in Kids Church this Sunday as we hear more of Jesus’ parables!
The religious leaders complained that Jesus welcomed sinners. Jesus told these parables to teach about God’s forgiveness. God sent Jesus so sinners can be forgiven. As Savior, Jesus seeks sinners. He paid the ultimate price—His own life—to save people from sin.
