Welcome back to GiG Youth for Term 2!

If you're in school years 7 - 11 you're welcome at GiG! Whilst we usually meet together on Friday nights at Cornerstone College - this term we are entirely online (thanks to COVID-19)!

GiG stands for Growing in God, and that's what GiG is all about.  We have fun, eat, get to know each other, think about big issues, and spend time in small groups looking at the Bible together. This term we'll be alternating each Friday with Trinity Youth - it's going to be a great term!

Term 2 kicks off on 1 May at 7:00pm.

Kids' Church: Jesus was Born

Come along this Sunday to celebrate Jesus in our last Kids Church of the year!

The birth of Jesus was good news! Jesus was not an ordinary baby. He is God’s Son, sent to earth from heaven. Jesus came into the world to save people from sin and to be our King.

We’d love to see you on Sunday!

18/03/20

Dear brothers and sisters in Trinity Churches,

I am sending you an attached letter that updates you on our plans and thinking for the Trinity Churches as our nation and world copes with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The letter was written yesterday and outlines the decision of the leadership of the Trinity Network to stop our main Sunday meetings until further notice.  As it turns out, given the government’s announcement this morning that indoor meetings of over 100 people should no longer occur, this decision has already been superseded.

In these times I want to encourage us all to consider how we draw near to God, stir one another up in love and care for those around us.

Your church leadership will let you know how we will continue to connect and care for each other during a time when we can no longer gather physically at our Sunday meetings.

Know that Sue and I and all the leaders of the Trinity Network are praying for you. The prayer at the end of Ephesians 1 is a wonderful way for us to all keep calling on God.

'I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power in us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength which he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority and dominion, and every name that is invoked, Not only in the present age but also in the age to come.' – Ephesians 1:18-21

In these times may you know the comfort, care, resurrection power and hope that we have in the Lord Jesus.

Your brother in Christ,

Paul Harrington
Trinity Network Senior Pastor

We're gathering to pray on Wednesday, 4 March from 8:00 - 9:00pm at Cornerstone College

While we pray in all sorts of ways and on all manner of occasions, it is especially good to join together in prayer.  Gathering as a church to pray gives us an opportunity as a family to bring our concerns to God, and to join with each other in thanking God for his goodness to us!  Of course, lots of Christians also find it really encouraging to listen to others pray, and to learn from the prayers of other believers.

Please join us Wednesday 4 March, at 8 PM, in Paideia at Cornerstone College, and if you come 15 minutes early, at 7:45, tea, coffee, and light supper will be served!

Junior Youth Bible Study

In Proverbs chapter 9, it mentions two choices that we have in life.

We can choose wisdom or foolishness.

What consequences do these choices have for our life now and into eternity? Let's look at these together in JYBS this Sunday!

Kids' Church: Love One Another

Come along to Kids Church on Sunday!

John wrote a letter to teach believers in the church about the importance of showing love. Love is more than feelings or words—it is an action. Jesus showed God’s love for us when He died on the cross to rescue people from sin.
